Anthony Damien Henry, known professionally as Damien, is a singer, songwriter, and live performer from Trinidad and Tobago.
His love for music began early. Growing up in a home where music was always present, Damien was inspired by the sound of his father singing and by family ties to Trinidad and Tobago’s music culture. By age eleven, he was already performing publicly, representing his school in the Junior Calypso Monarch competition and placing third.
That early start became the foundation for an artist with no desire to be limited by one genre or one sound.
